The other day a thread appeared on this music site about Bob Dylan's "born again" phase. It was chock full of nonsense and after four pages I couldn't resist and briefly and carefully explained why it is incorrect to call Jesus and the apostles "jews". My post was in response to a fellow that claimed that his father was the greatest preacher he ever knew. And yet, after reading my post he got the idea that I was claiming that Jesus is an Edomite! The brain shuts down in judeo-christian voodoo huts.
Btw, that guy from my wife's church never responded to any of my criticisms of his silly papers. Yesterday he sent me a book called "The Bait of Satan" by John Bevere. Looking over the cover it's a book about how to deal with being offended, even deeply. He must still be in denial about the great wealth of scriptural Truth presented here at Christogenea so he sent me a "fix-a-hater" manual.
Has anyone read this Bait of Satan book? Is it of any value on the subject matter despite the fact that it's irrelevant to my theological perspective?

Always looking for new approaches. Unfortunately, nobody has found the silver bullet that transmits our Identity truth to any given target market. Plant the seed - set the example.

It most often works on people my own age who are part of the smart-aleck culture and already know my personality. If I tried this on someone over 45, I would deserve to be popped in the nose on principle!!

People get their feelings hurt way too easily.
You'd be surprised how often that direct approach works too.
Allen you are a sinner you need Jesus to cleanse from all hate, murder, envy, contention, strife, idolatry, heresies and racism
