I think one of the PILATE letters talking about Jesus Christ was seen as factual (and preserved in a museum in England?), but can't remember which Letter it was.
Unsure if it is one of the Letters from the page you linked to.

These alleged letters of Herod and Pilate smell like typical early Roman Catholic church fabrications. They need to be judged by whether or not they are consistent with Scripture and ancient history--and whether they contain Catholic dogma.

The letter allegedly written by Herod, who was an Edomite, suggests that he recognized that Christ was, in fact, Yahweh, and that he, Herod, was subject to judgment unless he repented. This contradicts the teachings of the Apostles.

The story of the "healing" portrait of Christ is typical Catholic voodoo, believing that inanimate objects have spiritual power to heal--this is clearly a form of idolatry that, again, none of the Apostles would have promoted.

One of the letters concerning Pilate contains typical Catholic universalism--that Christ will redeem both the Israelites and anyone who believes in Him. Of course, the Apostles never taught such an idea, which was invented by the Catholics much later than the early First Century when these letters were allegedly written.

Also, the gratuitous mention of Mary--and the high esteem with which she is regarded--is clearly a Catholic invention.

All of these cursory points add up to only one conclusion--these letters are a revisionist Catholic fraud.

It is for this filth that you murdered your Empire. It is this filth that elects, selects, your politicians." -- Ezra Pound

Thanks EzraLB! I have been wanting to get to this, and the program schedule got in the way. But you said it better...
