From what I see in my own family, as I have in part described above, is that we can be either five-foot tall, or even greater than six-and-a-half feet tall, and that all the factors are not genetic. Diet, exercise, perhaps even nurture and environment are also important factors.

My mother's maternal grandfather was only about 5'6", but his brother over 6'!!!

I visited a Mennonite community once, in far northeast NJ. The homes were built in the late 1700's. The settlers were all German. The ceilings in the homes were not 6 feet high. I had to stoop all the way through, and bend over turning sideways to get through the interior doorways!

In a heavily forested area, this was not for lack of building materials. The people were small!

It would be hard to get similar statistics of modern, pure Aryans. The data would be full of mongrels.

Sarah, who according to the Bible was “very fair.” is described in great detail in the excerpt.

The description ruins:
“And how beautiful the look of their face … And how fine is the hair on her head, how fair indeed are her eyes and how pleasing her nose and all the radiance of her face … How beautiful her breast and how lovely all her whiteness. Her arms goodly to look upon, and her hands how perfect …. All the appearance of her hands. How fair her palms and how long and fine all the fingers of her hands. Her legs how beautiful and without blemish her thighs.

My father's father was about 5'7", as was my father. My uncle, my father's brother, is about 5'9". My brother is about 5'10".

When I was a kid I loved meat and milk. Especially milk. I am 6'4" and with a 37" waist I weigh a hundred pounds more than my brother.

Sort of blows up the theory in 2 Esdras, I think.

My sons, and my daughter, are all over 6', but none are 6'4".

My family is also improving height over the generations.

My father's father is very short, but my father is 5'10''. His brothers are 6'0'' and 6'3''. My cousins are 6'3'' and 6'1''. My mother's father is also short, and his children are also short. However his grandchildren are 6'3'', 6'5'' and 5'9''. The only exception is me.

Also, I noticed that the older population here is incredibly small. People over 70 years old are something like 5'5'' and even 5'4'', while the people of my generation had 5'10'' to 6'0'' fathers and now they are all 6'1'' to 6'3'' inches tall.

I think that generations which grow up in hard times, which spend their formative years in periods such as the Depression and the food rationing of the subsequent years of WW2, produce people not as large because of the nutrition deficiencies. I could be wrong, but if there were statistics it might be worth a study.
