Useful computer programs

To simply copy store bought, copy protected dvd's, that do not have bad scratches, I use DvD shrink.
This is the one I have used fpor 2 years and uploaded, but probably you can get from http://download.com also

dvdshrink32setup exe.rar
File size: 1.04 MB
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=45TS1M7J

sometimes that does not work, like if dvd's have some scratches, and this will work instead,DvD Decrypter
DVD Decrypter.rar
File size: 821.27 KB
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=781062B8

if you wantto rip dvd's into avi or mp4 (quicktime) files, I use FairUseWizard 2.8
[I have been unsuccessful making mpegs though with it]
FairUse Wizard v2.8.rar
File size: 8.77 MB
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OH1IP4LF

I use an old Nero Rom to burn dvds/cds

ahead nero burning rom v6.6.1.4 ultra edition-NO Password needed
File size: 33.07 MB
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LMA18CBZ

I am not sure if I put a password on these. If I did, try the word karnage

I've always used this: http://www.e-sword.net/

It is a free download.

You can send $40.00 for an added Wordstudy Bible - the Wordstudy Bible that is published by AMG Publishings. The Strong's New Testament and The Strong's Old Testament Dictionaries come with the free download of the software.

The free software also comes with a nice little add-on, which the makers of e-sword titled, Gospel Harmony.

I think that the Gospel Harmony was part of the free download. It was six or seven months ago when I downloaded the free download and the $40.00 Wordstudy Bible add-on and my memory is automatically no good to begin with.

I checked their website and I could not find the Gospel Harmony on their site. So maybe I downloaded the Gospel Harmony add-on from some other website.

Confusing isn't it?

http://www.qbible.com/

is also another great site.

On this site, you can look at the Hebrew-written Old Testament and see how it compares to the 1769 King James Version.

The link to that is:

http://www.qbible.com/bible-a.html

On this site, you can also look at the Greek-written New Testament.

The link to that is:

http://www.qbible.com/bible-g.html

Bill Finck studied the Greek Language and translated the Greek-written New Testament.

Bill Finck's translation of the Greek-written New Testament is easy to read and understand.

Bill Finck's translation of the Greek-written New Testament is on his website at:

http://christogenea.org/site/

Bill Finck's translation of the New Testament is the Christian Identity New Testament.

Bill Finck did what we all in Christian Identity wanted to do - he translated the Greek-written New Testament. So Bill Finck's translation of the New Testament IS the Christian Identity New Testament.

What I like about:

http://www.e-sword.net/

is that it is a free download that comes with a lot of free useful things that are part of the free download.

One download is all you have to download.

And you save it on your computer.

If you can't get online, you have it on your computer saved.

If you save it on your laptop, or transfer it to your laptop, then it becomes portable.

There are other add-ons that you pay for and download and these add-ons automatically become part of your e-sword program. They install themselves once you download them making them a new part of your e-sword program.

In my personal opinion, I think that these add-ons that you pay for are worth the amount of money that you pay for them.

This is a link to the q bible dot com website which allows you to download the bibles which it has on it's site.

You can download them to your computer, making them easier to access and use, especially if you can't get online.

http://www.qbible.com/downloads.html

We could all download the bible that this website has which shows the Old Testament and the original Hebrew which it is written in and see how well we can translate the Old Testament from the original Hebrew. We could delegate the work, working as a team. It would help speed up the time it would take only one person to translate the Hebrew into the Old Testament which it needs to be translated into.

Just my suggestion. Just an idea. Just a thought.

STUDY AIDS / APPS / RESOURCES

Postby Vandal » Fri Jan 28, 2011 2:50 am

http://www.theword.net/ is a pretty high-powered app with lots of bible modules and it is very easy to create your own modules and share them with others.

What other resources or apps could we add to the list of study aids?
