Staropramen wrote:Teaching children that all races of "man" make up something called a "human race" is highly destructive. Give this world view a moral sanction by distorting the bible to condone it and the results are irreversible in most cases. Yahweh however can change the course of any of His children and it is up to us to communicate the Gospel to any Adamic person that we encounter.
My wife and I met a lady yesterday that we encounter from time to time at the coffee shop. She identifies as a Christian but it's quite evident that she is very easily carried away from scripture by man's philosophy. I very slowly and carefully explained to her that being a child of God is not predicated on anything that we do. I explained the distorted concept of being "born again" in it's proper context, etc. No matter how simple I made my explanations she could not separate the concept of being a child of God from behavior. I asked her what part she played in becoming her parent's child. I explained that there are good children and bad children and both retain their "child" status regardless of behavior. This woman is intelligent but there is a disconnect in this area that is surely the result of propaganda.

It goes back to Eve and the constant struggle with women wanting more and having to hold back and be held back. I don't mean that they should be held back in the sense that they are categorically denied from being able to become lawyers, accountants, engineers, etc...
Think about this... The first thing God told Eve was not to eat from the tree and that she would die... Satan came along and told her to eat and that she would be as God. She must have wanted to eat and she must have wanted to be as God because she did what Satan told her to do.
If somebody tells you, in a charismatic way, to rob a bank, and you rob it, it wasn't because they told you to do it and they swayed you into doing it. They might have had a major impact, but deep down, you wanted to rob the bank, they basically just told you to do what you already wanted to do.
I remember as a young boy of about 10-11, realizing that negroes were fundamentally different from Whites and that it was wrong for people of different races to marry/mate and have children. This was contrary to everything that I was told by the education system, media, etc... I just had some feeling that it was okay to talk with people of other races, to be courteous and respectful when conversing/dealing with them, but it was never okay to mix with them.
I don't believe it was due to any great stroke of genius on my part, most children don't think about race one way or the other. I believe it was something inherent in our race and in my case God allowed me to see that truth and realize that truth.
You can write the most articulate propaganda and deliver the message in a speech with colorful and rich language, with charisma and emotion flowing with every sentence, but if the people don't have some inclination to want to hear the message, they won't be swayed.
This is something the mainstream people will never get... Hitler was not some demonic man with special supernatural charms who seduced the masses. He was true to his word, he believed his own convictions, he had charisma, and the people wanted to hear what he had to say because they felt much the same way.
If people believe Versailles was a just treaty, you won't be able to reach them no matter how rich and eloquent your manner of speaking, no matter how much emotion you pour into it.

"I disagree that in every case where a person is persuaded by propaganda it's because deep down inside they already desired to go in the direction that said propaganda would lead them. I would think that in some cases the person doesn't have an opinion one way or the other but the propaganda persuades them to formulate one. If the person in fact has an opinion contrary to the propaganda then yes, they are much less likely to be led astray."
