In Brazil, recently the mainstream media reported a case of a guy who was trying to rob a motorcycle and was caught by a policeman. The policeman eventually shot him to prevent the robbery.

Regarding the news, look at what a leftist militant said about it - very funny and awesome to know a leftist mind.

What an absurd the attitude of the policeman!!! Does he knows about the dramas, the history of this young boy? I was very sorry for this guy lying on the street like if he were an animal! Unprepared police! Thanks to this conservative and elitist right-wing of Sao Paulo, commanded by the Tucanos (a center-left, social democrat party, but compared to the ruling party they’re ‘far right’ lol)! One day when Brazil will be entirely of the PT (the rulling communist party), we won’t have attitudes like of this policeman!

Blame it all in the FHC (the last social democract president)!!! The police of Sao Paulo is commanded by the PSDB (the social democrat party)! In other words, its an unprepared and elitist police! They shot him just because he was poor! But one day the PT will rule Sao Paulo, and we’ll have a more human police, a police of the people. And the owner of the motorcycle? Is he innocent? Why was he recording it all? He knew he would get robbed and wanted to destroy the image of these two youngs! Even if the guy robbed his bike, whats the deal? With PT in the government, you are able to buy another one in no time. In other words, the young who robbed your bike has a bike for him, and you in no time buy another. This is be a democratic government. Different from this disgusting and dirty government of the PSDB (they rules the State of Sao Paulo yet), that rules for the elites. If today Brazil is a fair country its because of the Brazilian God Luis Inacio Lula da Silva (the first president of the PT)! Long live PT! Long live Lula! Long live Cuba! Long live Fidel! Long live Che! Long live Dilma (our second president, of the PT as well)! Dilma 2014 (regarding the presidential elections)!

It’s a lot easy to you criticize him, but you don’t know nothing about his life. You don’t know about his dreams, desires, fears that he has in life. Who knows if he wasn’t trying to rob this bike to have how to provide his family? We cant forget that Brazil is an extremely unequal country, a few have much and many have nothing (they repeat it like Jehovah Witnesses repeats their memorized verses). Since PT reached the power, a lot of things changed, but theres a lot of work to do yet, for the right-wing [PSDB (lol)] left a cursed inheritance to the petistas (members of PT) to fix.

Im affiliate of the PT and together we have projects of inclusion of the young, one of them must guarantee services, jobs, culture and fun areas. But the retrograde elite from Sao Paulo doesn’t accepts a workman in the presidency of Brazil (regarding the the first presidentm who is something like half indian and half black who can barely talk and according to him used to engage in bestiality when was young) , will they accept a poor young improving in life? The guy who was “robbed” was FLAUNTING an expensive bike, rubbing thousands of reais (brazilian coin) in the face of the youth that doesn’t has nothing in life. In other words, yes, the robbed deserved it! And the policeman mega unprepared!



Notice how its terrible to kill someone even if its to defend someone's life or property. America is going in the same way trying to ban guns.

They fight mostly blacks because blacks tend to criminality but they have non-whites within their ranks too. Theres no point joining them lol. But I don't think you'd have trouble coming in, what is hard is to a brazilian immigrate to America, not the opposed.

What is the likelihood that you can live in Brazil for 3-5 years without having somebody with a gun or a knife trying to mug, rob, kidnap, or kill you?

I lived for ninteen years in Brazil and never got robbed. Nothing ever happened to me. It depends a lot of where you live too. If you live in south its safer, and if you live in the interior of the south its even more safer. However the more in the north the higher is the probabilty of something happening to you. But I lived in a horrible state in a place far to the north for around ten years and still nothing happened to me. However I saw three shootings in my street, two people dead and a woman getting robbed in my neighborhood (I lived in a almost entirely black neighborhood though). Most of my friends in that place had already been robbed but still, nothing happened to me. Now I'm back in the south living in a small interior town, with the higher percentage of german population in the country. So I think I'm not going to get robbed anytime soon... Unless I get trolled by destiny lol.

I would say that if you're smart walking in the streets and lives in a good place you don't have a very high chance of getting robbed. Just don't go to anywhere north of Sao Paulo and if you go, avoid using public transports, mainly if you have a wife/girlfriend. Also, if you realize the buildings are getting small and ugly, the people getting ugly and the aspect of that part of the town getting too poor, avoing getting deeper in these parts. Always be in the rich people's neighborhoods.
