8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
1 Corinthians 13: 8-10
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
1 Corinthian 14:4
Staropramen wrote:"I never knew you" may have different meanings depending on who is being addressed. For Pentecostal niggers it's a question of their origins. For the screwball Israelite caught up in judeochristianity it might simply refer to their existence on earth which they just tried to justify in the previous verses. I find it hard to believe that unrepentant Israelites just get off the hook at death. Yes, all of Israel will be saved, eventually.

Personally I do not like it, mainly because I have issues with it on a philosophical level and a personal level.
However, I believe Bill has the better argument when it comes to a scriptural perspective, so there is nothing to raise in regards challenging the idea that all of Israel will be saved.
If I had scripture to use to raise a challenge I would raise a challenge and we would begin a debate, but a debate requires more than my having a philosophical problem with something.
It is not enough to simply state- "they should go to the Lake of Fire because I don't believe they deserve to be in the Kingdom" because it isn't about what I believe as I am not God.

I know that all of Israel will be saved. I thought I made that clear. I don't challenge that. I just wonder whether a free pass will be granted at death or if there will be a process to go through for the unrepentant Israelite.
