Numbers chapter 5:12 discusses jealousy, as a spirit, overcoming a man when his wife cheats on him. I'm just curious, as I have felt those pangs of jealousy in my gut in previous relationships, and usually those 'gut feelings' were right.

I'm curious to whether or not Yahweh sends this spirit upon us to let us know of wrongdoing, or is jealousy really just a 'controllable emotion'? The zealots, they were jealous for Yahweh weren't they, like Phinehas? Was this jealousy a sin? Can jealousy be a sin? I ask in pure humility and everyone's answer will be well appreciated.

Like all emotions they are given by God for a reason and the reason is good. However, they can all lead to our downfall if corrupted. Jealousy can be a bad thing if it is obsessive and irrational, but it can be a good thing if there are real circumstances causing you to feel that way.

If your feelings were right and led to objective, real evidence of an unfaithful woman then I would say that it wasn't a bad thing.

Regardless, you need to find a good woman who doesn't slander herself with her actions.

I think you've answered your own question. Now there are fellows who are jealous of their ladies when there is no reason, whatsoever, to be jealous. That is, apparently, not your issue. You've been betrayed in the past and have always sensed it, and have been proven right. Were you CI at the time? In any event Yahweh does guide, does instill, in us, a spirit of discernment, that is clear. The only issue is whether we are sensitive to His will and in our walk with Him are conscious of the subtleties of His inspiration. The problem is not you but rather society's brainwashing of Israelites to the point that many no longer trust their own Yahweh-given insights into human nature.

The Lord Himself is a JEALOUS GOD, so scripture informs us. As I implied in the first section there is the jealousy that Yahweh gives so that one might know who is betraying one, and there is the man without that inspiration, who is jealous without cause.

Listen to your own words, in them is your answer in this case. This is a dark world filled with vile creatures who may wear the appearance of a human being but they are not, they are children of the Darkness, and the god of this world.

I was Identity at the time, or so I claimed. I was raised by CI parents back when Butler and Peters were in full swing, but at about 19 I decided I would do what I wanted. Only in hindsight do I realize that Yahweh was still there, pushing me to go in certain directions, to come back to His Word.

By the time I was 25 I began 'learning' the history of our people. I was caught up in the Anglo Israelism thing, and really believed that to be truth, but I noticed that there was far to much emphasis on history and not enough of Yahshua, which is who we should model ourselves after. I studied a lot of different things, my mind would sway from this way to that, but I never forgot what my parents taught me. During this time is when I felt those pangs of jealousy, with my wife whom I had married before Yahweh and not man. She was with me for 5 years before she went after the world, and I can only pray that she repents and comes back to Him.

Regardless, those pangs in my belly were ignored, I was being told from all sides at the time that jealousy is bad and damages relationships.(This is before I started reading the bible for myself with eyes, rather than just listening to what others said.) I hid from my gut feelings for a long time, then I had an epiphany. It came upon me that these feelings were the voice of Yahweh, guiding me towards peace. If I had listened before, and acted appropriately, I would have saved myself a world of heart ache and personal suffering.

I have been through a lot of changes over the past 4 months to honest. I lost my family because I chose it over Yahweh, I renounced my 'pushiness' as it was being called in front of my woman. I also told her the consequences of my actions(I would lose my job Yahweh had just blessed me with, I would lose her and my kids, and then i would be homeless.) This all came to pass, and it took almost 2 months before I was able to hear again, Praise Yahweh! I feared that I would not be able to come back to Him... But I have cut out a lot of things in my life that I was clinging to, and I find it very hard to tolerate anything that is not truth...period.

Along my CI journey, I came across Dr Swift... this led me to Pastor Visser and through him I found Bill Finck and Eli James. So my faults and misunderstanding were not in vain, but now I just wish to live my life according to Yahweh's will. My life is getting back on track, but I still have some things to cut myself from before I think all can be restored. Yahweh is calling me hard, and I had better listen...we all had.

Brother that was very powerful. Truly you are now WISER than you were in the past. Yahweh has granted you the discernment that we all need most desperately.

You see the fool never realizes he was wrong or acting in violation of the Lord's will. The wise man learns from EXPERIENCE that Yahweh's way is THE WAY. Praise be to Yahweh that you are today, a wiser, stronger man for it all.

Yahshua should and must be our role model, He who we look towards for the measure of a man, surely that is a VERY high standard but unless we all look to Him it shall all be in vain.

Be most grateful to Yahweh for you are now beginning to recognize the spiritual laws, principles which govern this world.

I am most grateful every day. I feel disgusted towards myself at times, but Yahweh is bringing me peace. I have never been baptized though, as I felt that would be negated by a Ba'al priest... but soon I will be baptized by a true man of Yahweh. All things come to pass in time, and my prayers are being answered, but I must remain focused on this life given me anew! So I spend a lot of time in the Scriptures, I truly enjoy reading the words within it. My roomates probably think I am odd, but I don't care, Yahweh has me where I am meant to be right now.

Yes, I actually just read a few of Bills articles on baptism. There is a lot of wonderful information there, but now I am confused. How is it that we can be divided by something as important as this in CI? On one side of the fence, we're pushed to be immersed in water, in the other corner, we are cleansed by the spirit and its pointed out that we are not to be as the jews with 'traditions'.

I am not calling anyone out as I am but a humble student of the word. Yahweh is not the author of confusion, and I am just that now. Please help me understand a little more. If this pastor adamantly preaches FOR water immersion and it is non scriptural, is he a deceiver? I have loved his teachings and so have many others over the years. He has even co hosted Christogenea with Bill numerous times. I just think I will pray to our Father about it. He will lead me to which is truth.

I think I big mistake people make in our movement is when someone preaches something one doesn't agree with then one automatically assumes that the person is a deliberate deceiver. I'm not pointing any fingers; I'm speaking in general. Having said that, it is of course the case sometimes, but the point is that there can be no necessary implication i.e. Just because A is true (he preaches "x") then B is true as well (he is a deceiver). While in some cases A and B can be true, it is not always the case.

I guess we have some wolves in sheep's clothing and some sheep who need a hiding with the shepherd's cane
