Gee, someone at CNN must have noticed too ... the gallery of images is already gone ("expired")!! Took less than one day to fix that little PC slip...

Maybe they're fixing up some new images to replace them that look more like Menahem, Moshe, Zev, Dov and Yoram who are running around Tel Aviv today ....

Many paintings depict Jesus Christ as having long hair and a beard. Even old painting have this Jewish appearance for the Almighty. Isn't it funny that 3rd century paintings such as here show Yahweh as being close cropped and clean shaven. I guess the Judeo look has been around for centuries with older paintings of Jesus and the Apostles looking as though they are jew or non-white. Through deception they wage war against Israel.

Anyone see what I see? Most of the earliest depictions show him clean shaven, and obviously white, with no hint of JEW anywhere. I am pleased to see that almost all the pictures do show Him as a WHITE man, but no "Jesus" gallery would be complete without PC pictures....

Good find.

The initial argument would be that since cultures model their art after their own physical appearances, then the Roman artist would simply depict Yashua and the disciples as Whites.

Two problems with that argument:

1. In the time period in which these frescos were made, White boys were hard to come by in Italia. A Roman artist would be familiar enough with other races to not necessarily fall back on White faces as a standard model.

2. Building on 1, the artist would be also extremely familiar with what an Edomite would look like. If he felt that the Holy One and his entourage were Jewish, he would have depicted them as such.

So the argument is weak at best.
