Yahweh's law is a big and important subject. Is anybody familiar with this book on the law by Charles Weissman? Is it pretty reliable? Does anybody know of any other good websites or books that give an accurate and thorough description of what Yahweh requires of us? We have the Ten Commandments, are they pretty much sufficient for us today?

YHWH's law is dependent upon the priesthood the keepers of the law are under. Paul wrote that when the priesthood changed from that of Levitical to that of Yeshua in the order of Melchizedek, there was, by a necessity, to be a change of the law. Thus YHWH's law changes via the priesthood the law keepers are under.
The Levitical priesthood was not the law that Abraham was under, nor Noah, or Enoch, or even Adam. The Levitical priesthood was given as a tutor to bring Israel to Messiah (Gal. 3:19-25). That priesthood was more of a punishment than anything, but it was also a type, or you might call it plan "B". So what was plan "A"?
Plan "A" was what the scripture calls the "Book Of The Covenant", found in Ex. 24:7. The Book of the Covenant was everything given from YHWH to Moses in Exodus 20, 21, 22 and 23. These laws were also written on the two tablets, called the two "Tablets of the Covenant", also called the "Tablets of the Testamony", that Moses carried down from the mountain, twice, for the first set He broke, just as Israel broke this great covenant.
Many believe, falsely, that the two tablets simply had just the ten commandments on them........not so.
The tablets had the entire Covenant (Exodus 20, 21, 22 and 23), written from and back (Exodus 24:12 and Ex. 32:15-16).
It is this law (The Book of the Covenant) that Adam, Enoch, Noah, Abraham looked to as what YHWH expected of them under the order of Melchizedek. And it is this law that we are to look to today as our light unto our path.
In this law you will find 20 laws, not 10. The first ten are well known, the last ten are not well know, but the last ten can be broken down into the first ten.
The last ten are as follows:
11) Laws concerning the alter (Ex. 20:22-26)
12) Laws concerning servants (Ex. 21:1-11)
13) Laws concerning violence (Ex. 21:12-27)
14) Laws concerning animal control (Ex. 21:28-36)
15) Laws concerning property (Ex. 22:1-15)
16) Laws concerning principles of moral ceremonies (Ex. 22:16-31)
17) Laws concerning justice (Ex. 23:1-9)
18) Laws concerning Sabbaths (Ex. 23:10-13)
19) Laws concerning Feast (Ex. 23:14-19)
20) Laws concerning the worship of false gods (Ex. 23:20-33)
These laws along with the 10 we all know so well, are eternal and are written on our DNA. They are for all Adam kind, forever and they are the guideline of what YHWH requires of us.
By the way, as a side, when ever Paul speaks of a law that is ready to vanish or is in anyway done away with, in all cases it can be proven from the context that he is speaking of the Levitical priesthood laws, given in Ex. 25 through the end of Ex. 31. In this set of laws, you will find sprinkled in the "Book of the Covenant" laws, but it what was added that Paul speaks of as being done away with, not the original portion of YHWH's law that is eternal. Just the law added because of sin (Gal. 3:19). What sin?.......The sin of breaking the original covenant, with the golden calf, the idol of Molech (Also called Saturn, the Satyr).

Yes, I agree that we now have His law written in our hearts. Equity, justice, righteousness, charity, mercy are at the basis of our understanding and approach to everything naturally and we recoil and react naturally at their opposites, and this even in our childhoods, we even have our Father's desire for vengeance on the wicked.
The tablets of stone (both sides) would be a validation checklist for situations that arise in our lives. Of course, there are the other issues of specifics contained there such as the feasts for example. We 'must', we 'should', it would be 'nice if we did', we now communicate such things with our Father in other, more personal and individual ways? And how about marriage issues? We take into consideration New Testament admonitions? Exactly how are we or our relationship with our Father affected when we act contrary to such admonitions (either out of error or miscalculation or willful refusal)? I know such things are all hot button issues of disagreement but such issues obviously create some possibly serious problems. (Pastor Eli and Bill Finck did a good show on this recently on Galatians 4)
Clearly any so called christian who thinks there is no law in effect today is a complete loon. They seem to think they can pick and choose on an individual basis what Yahweh will deem okay or not. Just about all of them I suppose would say murder and stealing are wrong/sin along with anything they personally deem as unfit like 'being a hater' (if there is no law and sin is the transgression of the law then how can there be any sin??) but depending on personal preference they would dismiss, for example, lying (sometimes) or infidelity or multiple shack-ups, abortion (simply redefine as "not killing" to suit your convenience and you're okay), etc.
But on our side of the fence, though we are making much more of an effort to be within the will of Yahweh, we have a certain lack of clarity that we can't seem to overcome either.

As I stated on another thread. YHWH shows us a little truth to see what we will do with it. He does not reveal it all to us immediately. Here and little and there a little.
The main point of my last post was that YHWH's law (The Book of the Covenant Law) is eternal and for all Adam kind at all times. It was never mandatory for Israel to live under the Levitical law, just like Psalms 40:6 states, and I think men like David came to understand that and placed themselves under the higher form of YHWH's law, which was the "Book of the Covenant" law and YHWH accepted this.
One thing is for certain in my mind. The law that is spoken of in Jer. 31:31 and Hebrews 8:8 is this Book of the Covenant law, and for sure not the Levitical law that was added because of sin.
The keeping of YHWH's Feast are not a apart of the law that was added. it already existed before Israel broke the first covenant given in Ex. 24.
If Protestant Israel could come to see this one fact, they would have to deal with the law of YHWH being kept today. They are willing to put ten commandment signs in their yards, but they are not willing to keep YHWH Feast or accept slavery or any number of other subjects that they reject this day. if they only knew that the entire covenant was written on those two tablets of stone, they would see the light.
