Our National Anthem

As citizens of The Kingdom, it is fitting that we should have a National Anthem. And since Ephraim (Great Britain) and Manasseh (The United States) both share a common tune, it seems fitting that this Anthem should be sung to that tune.

I have written the first (stanza) to this tune (God Save The Queen and Our Country 'tis of Thee). And since we're all citizens, perhaps others here would like to add to this song.

YHWH our GOD to THEE
Giver of Liberty
To THEE we sing
Long may our day be bright
With YOUR eternal light
Who saved us by HIS might?
YHWH our King!

I will have to download the full lyrical versions to see how many verses and choruses we need to write. Writing lyrics is one of my fortes, and will gladly contribute. What an awesome idea, James! And a wonderful start, to boot!

That's really righteous. It really compliments the last stanza:

O! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: 'In God is our trust.'
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

How about on the sixth line: "In Yah is our trust"
