Well, Verbal Vandalism tanked for about the sixth time. Something in the server or database tables, or maybe the files might be corrupted, or perhaps some script kiddie hacked the configuration. Actually the server is under constant load, apparently from DOS attacks. I thought Carolyn Yeager was the target and last month I moved her site to a different server, however it is still being burdened. The logs are not revealing a whole lot to me. 13 active Christogenea subdomains are on that server (but not this forum).

When I get back from NY in January I am going to shop for a new server. I have to use a different host, since I do not want all my sites on the same host any longer. I have taken preventative measures to ward off further attacks, but they have had mixed results.
