Suicide

I don't think this has been been clearly discussed here.
If it has on a radio podcast, then I didn't get to hear it yet.

I will have to search again through previous threads maybe, but is "suicide" ever acceptable to Yahweh?

When we are against impossible odds, and know we are on His side?
When during torture we want to give up?
It is very rare when we hear of Yahweh saving us from physical horror.

I corresponded with Col. Jack Mohr in the 1990s, and he said everything was all up to our faith, after I asked him how we should prepare ourselves from the enemy.

Other elders told me, they said Mohr was not to be trusted, as he abandoned the true Seedline doctrine, and was a mind slave of Communism after Korean capture.

There seem to be examples in the Bible of people who take their own lives, but what to conclude from it I'm not sure.

Abimelech - Judges 9:54
After having been crushed under a millstone, Abimelech called for his armor bearer to kill him with a sword.

Samson - Judges 16:29-31
By collapsing a building, Samson sacrificed his own life.

Saul and His Armor Bearer - 1 Samuel 31:3-6
Losing his sons and all of his troops in battle, King Saul, assisted by his armor bearer, ended his life. Then Saul's servant killed himself.

Ahithophel - 2 Samuel 17:23
Disgraced by Absolom, Ahithophel went home and hanged himself.

Zimri - 1 Kings 16:18
Rather than being taken prisoner, Zimri set the king's palace on fire and died in the flames.

Judas - Matthew 27:5
After he betrayed Jesus, Judas hanged himself.

Well, I do not think "JUDAS" should have been included!
That is one that should cause all to rejoice............

I knew Col. Mohr personally and we had our differences, but he was as sincere a Christian as anybody else in our movement back in the 90's. If our faith is not relevant to how we handle our adversaries, then what is the correct answer.

There are many "true" Seedline doctrines and depending on which party politics one confessed, if it wasn't a given group with "elders" one may fall into their disfavor and garner the typical cheap shots of that era. If Jack was such a mind slave to the Korean Communists, then why did he escape his captors and later after retiring from the military, became a very popular speaker on the John Birch circuit; until, that is, he started talking about the jewish problem?
