Earle's pissing on the South fits in with a long tradition in the music industry. The Canadian Neil Young, of course, pulled the same kike out of his hat when he wrote the hateful "Southern Man" and "Alabama":
Oh Alabama
Banjos playing
through the broken glass
Windows down in Alabama.
See the old folks
tied in white ropes
Hear the banjo.
Don't it take you down home?
And in "Southern Man" he had the audacity to suggest that White Southern women were secretly lusting after niggers:
Lily Belle, your hair is golden brown
I've seen your black man comin' round
Swear by God, I'm gonna cut him down
Ronnie Van Zandt in response, of course, wrote "Sweet Home Alabama" and put Neil Young's ignorant White liberal ass in his place. Too bad Rabbi Steve Earle didn't get the memo:
Well I heard Mister Young sing about her
Well I heard ole Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A southern man don't need him around anyhow
"Turn It Up..."
"No Rothschild is English. No Baruch, Morgenthau, Cohen, Lehman, Warburg, Kuhn, Kahn, Schiff, Sieff or Solomon was ever born Anglo-Saxon. And it is for this filth that you fight. It is for this filth that you murdered your Empire. It is this filth that elects, selects, your politicians." -- Ezra Pound
