Fallen angels are too fantastic, but ET's are not?! Where do you see any reference to ET's in Scriptures? And if fallen angels, or more precisely heavenly creatures, mixing themselves with animals, is a too fantastic story, then what about the miracles in Scriptures? Aren't they too fantastic too? Come on, walking on water, turning water into wine, multiplying loaves of bread, resurrecting the dead! And an ass talking? And the giants? And the flood? And the Creation?
I believe in the miracles and the works of Jesus Christ. Saying once again, this thread was to question the nature of the devil/giants/fallen angels/jews, not to contradict Scriptures. That is why I said alert: conspiracy theory and to don't take it too serious. Some fantastic things are more rational than others. Jesus was God Himself in a body, so performing all those miracles is not so fantastic, He can do whatever He wants. Its very silly to discuss these things, we are going in the same way of some CI folks arguing about what the devil is or is not. Is the devil really that important? You are taking too serious a thread that wasn't that serious.
I guess I have to ask; did God create the reptilians, did He create ETs? (implying that they are not bastards). They cannot be angels as the heavenly hosts are non-biological.
No, in this conspiracy theory reptilians would be the rebel angels. The non-biological character of the angels is a good point, but they could have lost their original aspect once they "fell". Bible says nothing about living beings outside our world. But I can never say that life outside the planet doesnt exists. I don't know the whole universe, and I don't know if all the knowledge of the universe is in the Bible. For example, in the way Genesis is written, it makes me understand that God didn't want to explain in details how it was created. Maybe because it wasnt important, maybe because He didn't want us to know. Following this logic, its totally possible that a lot of knowledge is not written in the Bible because God don't want us to know all things.
Mark Downey is not dual-seedline, but he justifies his keen understanding with Scripture. So just because you can't accept dual-seedline does not mean you have to abandon Scripture.
You know, I learnt most of CI things with Mark, and I think his approach is more rational. That is very personal though, it differs from person to person. One of the main things that attracted me to CI is its rational approach. At that time I was so tired of churchianity emotional services and how they would seek supernatural events in the church as a purpose of life... I always had some problems with their doctrine due to its non-sense character, like Noah putting all the kinds of animals of the world inside a ship, that is kids story and I couldn't believe how adults would take that serious. Then CI offered a whole new point of view of the Scriptures, and it was the only thing preventing me from turning agnostic or maybe pagan.
So, when giving a look at the ET thing I related it to the dual seed line theory, and wondered if we could have possibly misunderstood the devil. Even though ET's are very fantastic too, we have some evidence of non-human interference in the world. These interference could be explained by a white power doctrine, but it would go against CI. In the end, it was just an attempt of a more rational approach regarding the fallen angels. But as I said before, satan doesn't deserves all this attention.
If I knew you would take it so serious, and not like a conspiracy theory, I wouldn't have started this thread. We need to focus in positive aspects of Christianity instead of arguing over the devil.
