I have found that in most cases it is who you know and not
what you know that gets you the job. Plus most people do
not want to hire people that is over qualified because they
will have to pay them what they are worth. My Uncle once
told me to never make what I was worth because then I
would get the boot on the way out of the company. Today
since the economy is doing not so hot people are looking to
cut costs. If you exceed the companies expectations then
they will over look you. It is not fair but we do not live in a fair
society, not yet anyway.
