Hello James, The Cold War saw over 60 "Bush" (jungle) wars and insurgencies fought and funded by factions of the Warsaw Pact nations and the NATO Allies. These Wars included many "UN" sponsored wars. They were mostly fought throughout the "Third World" and went unreported in the "Western Media". But, none the less, these wars were every bit as deadly and destructive as any war engaged by the USA. There were numerous wars in Africa, (Congo, Angola, Algeria, Chad, Ghana, Katanga Province et al...) Asia, (Suharto's revolt in Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, India's Invasion of Goa, et al...) and the unending revolutions in South America ( To include Cental America, Cuba, Nicaragua, Chile, Argentina, Colombia) in total, the Cold War included over 60 incursions, revolutions and wars. The Revolts of Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia in 1967 were two that were made known to the west. However, the true extent of the destruction is still unknown because the Russians deported, to the Gulags many people and a full accounting has never been done. And that brings us to our current "Global War of Terror", which is in reality WW4 (I use the term "Of" instead of "on" on purpose). How many wars can one recall because of this latest political unrest? Persian Gulf War One, Iraqi "Freedom", The Civil War in the Phillipines, Sudan, Afghanistan, The "Tamal Tigers" in Ceylon and Sri Lanka, South Africa, USA, Europe, Somalia, Bosnia-Serbia et al... No, the final curtain is about to be drawn and this unending 7500 year history of warfare will climax! We are at the precipace of WW5!!
