Thanks for posting this, Coenraad. I think it is insightful in several ways. I am also going to move this thread to CI Directions, because it can help some of us better address kith & kin who are caught up in the artificial neo-pagan paradigm. One day soon I would like to expand on it and quantify some of the Biblical connections.

Pagans claim that Christianity is "jewish". They claim to detest, for instance, the idea that "jews" sacrifice animals in rituals, and how those sacrifices were conducted. They are ignorant of the fact that pagan Greeks and Romans did the exact same things in their own pagan temples. But, as you also pointed out, neo-pagans tend to make things up as they go along, so what does it even matter?

There is an endless list of false accusations against Hitler and the movement he proposed, one of which accused them of adhering to the Nordic mythologies of paganism. This is completely false and unfounded. A website called TruthForGermans.com has recently reported on the historical scholarship, at the university level, of the pagan religion of Wotan (also identified with Odinism, Asatru and the folk gods of the Vikings) being an effeminate transsexual, taking pleasure in bisexual role playing. Even though most people, especially within the rank and file of White Nationalism, think of Vikings as a tough masculine warrior image akin to bikers and death metal musicians, the truth is that Wotan had a proclivity for sodomy and the molestation of children. The social aberration of pedophilia was similar to their Greek kinsmen, having the same kind of perverse inclinations.

This might explain the Germanic Volkisch movement's worldview of hermaphrodites as being divine beings, which sparked the modern folkish Wotanist movement. Unfortunately, most of these modern pagans have an antipathy for Christian Identity and a warped acceptance of National Socialism, believing the jewish lies that Hitler embraced the pagan myths. We all know the criminal mistranslations of the judeo-Christian establishment, portraying Christ as a long-haired hippy, bearing no resemblance to the king-high priest of ancient Israel. Because of this slander, Odinism presents a macho alternative to young and impressionable White Nationalists. How ironic and embarrassing for this pagan cult, that historical researchers have provided evidence for the priesthood of Odin, during the Viking Age of 800-1200AD, as being anything but machismo, but rather a priesthood practicing the rituals of Baal worship, gender switching, sodomy, pedophilia and homosexuality as part of their belief in wielding magical powers; much like the Kabbalah. In the ancient Norse world such perverts were regarded with disgust (after all, they were Israelite by blood), but the establishment of an occult priestcraft gave them the status whereby the rest of society must be in awe of them. “When the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” Prov. 29:2.

This thinly veiled disguise as an Aryan religion was transparent to the new vision of Positive Christianity, rejecting the perverse abominations. Looking at the sordid history of Scandinavian mythologies assaulting our race with not only the aforementioned, but the insane afflictions of hallucinogens, human sacrifices, STD's, infanticide and psychotic violence by a parasitic minority, we can now better understand why our ancestors were more than happy to accept and worship their Kinsman Redeemer, Jesus Christ. By the same token, conditions were such in Germany, circa 1920-1930's, that the only way to climb out of the morass of degeneracy was for the Truth to make them free, and Adolph Hitler was the man that God choose to lead; to make the clear distinctions between healthy traditions and the diseased culture of alien gods giving sanction to perversion. This is what Hitler wrote about German paganism, "The characteristic thing about these people [modern-day followers of the early Germanic religion] is that they rave about the old Germanic heroism, about dim prehistory, stone axes, spear and shield, but in reality are the greatest cowards that can be imagined. For the same people who brandish scholarly imitations of old German tin swords, and wear a dressed bearskin with bull's horns over their heads, preach for the present nothing but struggle with spiritual weapons, and run away as fast as they can from every Communist blackjack" – Mein Kampf, Chapter 12. Also stating, "It seems to me that nothing would be more foolish than to re-establish the worship of Wotan [father of the gods in the German lore]. Our old mythology ceased to be viable when Christianity implanted itself. Nothing dies unless it is moribund." Hitler and other National Socialists were explicit in their contempt of the ancient gods. Alfred Rosenberg exclaimed, "Odin is dead!". And Hitler himself declared that the future "must not take the form of a revival of the worship of Wotan." Baldur von Schirach, leader of the Hitler Youth, assured German parents that "it is my purpose neither to re-erect in the forests of Germany heathen altars and introduce our youth to any kind of Wotan's cult, nor in any way to hand over young Germany to the magical altars of the herb-apostles..."

They not only voiced their objections, but applied God's Law to the heretics in their midst. The truth is that from the beginning of the Third Reich, Odinist groups were dissolved and properties confiscated. Their leaders were arrested and/or exiled. Their pagan books were banned. Former membership in any Odinist organization disqualified anyone from holding rank or office in the NSDAP. A large number of pagan practices were banned. Hitler said, "And so I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. In standing guard against the Jew I am defending the handiwork of the Lord." As early as 1922 Hitler said, "My feelings as a Christian point me to my Lord and Saviour as a fighter... As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people."

And so do we.

That's a really well-written expose of paganism, Mark. I'm looking forward to Part 2.

A recurrent theme among pagans is their vain attempt to transform themselves into "alpha" males by embracing their inner warrior. We see these "masculine" images of Vikings plastered all over their websites. And yet, ironically, these so-called "alpha males" readily submitted to Christianity, not by the sword as they mistakenly believe, but rather simply by recognizing a Power much greater than themselves.

There is only one true role model of an "alpha male" after whom we should conform our lives, and that is Christ, who feared no man as he walked unarmed among his enemies in Judea who wished Him dead. He tells us:

Revelation 21:6-8 And he said to me, "They are made. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To he who thirsts I shall give freely from out of the fountain of the water of life. He who prevails shall inherit these things and I shall be a God for him and he shall be a son for Me. 8 But for the cowards and the faithless and abominable and murderers and fornicators and drug-makers and idolaters and all those who lie, their fate is burning in the lake in fire and sulfur, which is the second death!”

If I had to guess we are probably in a third or fourth generation of the modern popularity of "Odinism", however even there the term "popularity" is quite relative. I know some Odinists will claim that it has been around much longer than that.

However, as Mark's article suggests might occur, neo-paganism was forced into the closet along with the fags.

Until somewhat recently the vast majority of Whites never imagined that Asatru or any other sort of neo-Odinism actually had any real followers or a body of literature (stretching the term "literature").

Still to this day, most of the Odinists I know had learned about it in prison. It is fashionable for whites in prison to embrace it, because first, whites in prison quickly learn to band together with other Whites for protection from the vast majority consisting of negroes and mestizos, and second, negroes and mestizos cannot identify with Odinism the way that the denominations allow them to pretend to be Christians.

Hollywood will, however, change that as well, and as we pointed out in another thread here recently, many neo-pagans are also trying to accommodate non-Whites into paganism. It was in prison that I saw a pro-rainbow paganism pamphlet, printed in Australia in the late 1980's.

Christian Identity is not fashionable in prison, because it is not accepted by prison administration, and it is even actively persecuted by most of them. But in prison Odinists get to celebrate feasts and bloats and meet weekly in the chapels.

Identity Christians are forced into isolation. I spent years where I would talk to only a couple of people most days. But that self-imposed isolation also helped me focus on other things.

But most, if not all, of the Odinists I knew in prison would hate fags, and probably were unaware of the fagophilia in pagan Germanic literature. Maybe it was just fashionable to hate fags in prison.

However long ago I argued with them, because their Eddas and other poetry never forbade such things, so they had no real basis upon which to build a moral community. The rainbow Odinists I had read about used stories from Germanic literature to support race-mixing.

I saw the article Mark spoke of at Justice for Germans. I actually saw that site a few months ago, liked another article there, and had not had the chance to read much else from it yet. But I was alienated by something he wrote called "The Sacred Name Delusion". He is both off-base and engaging in Word Pharisaism, for which reason I dropped the idea of linking him from the Mein Kampf Project.

Wow, Hitler himself used the "sacred name", or at least a form of it. Luther despised it because he thought it was "judaizing". To the contrary, one reason that I will continue to use it is because it helps to represent an assertion that the Hebrew culture and the Hebrew Bible are ours - that they do not belong to the Jews - and I am not going to cede them to Jews. There is nothing which pisses the Jews off more than that assertion, which is also historically correct.

I do not beat up anyone for not using versions of the "sacred names", but I would beat somebody up if they had the audacity to tell me that I am deluded for using them. So as intelligent as the writers at truthforgermans.com seem to be, that to me is a serious shortcoming.

However since the protest from pagans concerning Abraham's sacrifice of Isaac and how it is inherently "jewish" is heard quite frequently, I thought I would post it here.

Many of the neo-pagans who despise Christianity use Abraham’s offering of Isaac as an excuse. Yet the same neo-pagans would extol the virtues of their pagan gods, or properly, their pagan idols. They are ignorant of their own pagan traditions. In the Greek Epic and Tragic poets, that is a popular account, that Agamemnon the great king of the Greeks had sacrificed his own daughter Iphigeneia, whom he sent for under the pretext of a promise of marriage to Achilles. He placed her on an altar and sacrificed her to Artemis in exchange for the hope of having fair winds for the voyage to Troy, so that the Greeks could launch their attack against the city. The Eddas of Snorri also include references to human sacrifice, such as that of the Swedish king who sacrificed nine of his sons to Odin in an agreement to prolong his own life, which is a story found in the Ynglinga saga.

There are many instances of human sacrifice in certain of the Eddas, but this one is probably, so far as I have seen, the most prolific.

Peace-loving, who was succeeded by his sons Halfdan and Fridleif,
who were great warriors. Halfdan was older than his brother, and

to Sweden, and was always victorious. At last King On fled to
Wester Gotland when he had been king in Upsal about twenty-five
years, and was in Gotland twenty-five years, while Halfdan

and was buried there in a mound; and King On returned to Upsal
when he was sixty years of age. He made a great sacrifice, and
in it offered up his son to Odin. On got an answer from Odin,
that he should live sixty years longer; and he was afterwards
king in Upsal for twenty-five years. Now came Ole the Bold, a
son of King Fridleif, with his army to Sweden, against King On,
and they had several battles with each other; but Ole was always
the victor. Then On fled a second time to Gotland; and for
twenty-five years Ole reigned in Upsal, until he was killed by
Starkad the Old. After Ole's fall, On returned to Upsal, and
ruled the kingdom for twenty-five years. Then he made a great
sacrifice again for long life, in which he sacrificed his second
son, and received the answer from Odin, that he should live as
long as he gave him one of his sons every tenth year, and also
that he should name one of the districts of his country after the
number of sons he should offer to Odin. When he had sacrificed
the seventh of his sons he continued to live; but so that he
could not walk, but was carried on a chair. Then he sacrificed
his eighth son, and lived thereafter ten years, lying in his bed.
Now he sacrificed his ninth son, and lived ten years more; but so
that he drank out of a horn like a weaned infant. He had now
only one son remaining, whom he also wanted to sacrifice, and to
give Odin Upsal and the domains thereunto belonging, under the
name of the Ten Lands, but the Swedes would not allow it; so
there was no sacrifice, and King On died, and was buried in a
mound at Upsal. Since that time it is called On's sickness when
a man dies, without pain, of extreme old age. Thjodolf tell of
this: --
