1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
1 Peter 3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
1 Peter 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
1 Peter 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1 Peter 3:5 For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
1 Peter 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
1 Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
In 1 Peter, Chapter 3, Verses 1 - 9, a picture is painted for us as an example of how a man and a wife can easily fight, when one, or the other, or both, are not focused on Yahweh's Kingdom Of Heaven. In Verse 3, the explanation of a female showing her outward appearance by her wearing her jewelry, and by wearing the clothes she wears, and by fixing her hair in all manners as to show her focus on how she looks, rather than her focusing on Yahweh's Kingdom Of Heaven. In Verse 5, there is the example of Holy women, who did trust in Yahweh. As this example of Holy women continues in Verses 5 and 6, these Holy women were focused on Yahweh's Kingdom Of Heaven. And they did not focus on wearing jewelry or clothes or fixing their hair in a certain manner, because their beauty was seen by their focus on Yahweh. Their focus was not on how they looked to everyone who saw them. Their focus was on Yahweh, His Kingdom, and His Will. And a perfect example is given in Verse 6, of Sara and Abraham. In Verse 7, husbands are reminded that they too must have Yahweh's Will as their focus. Husbands are to not degrade their wives, they are not to look down on their wives. Both, a husband and his wife, both, need to be focused on Yahweh's Will. Verse 9, we are told of exactly what happens between a husband and a wife if they are not focused on Yahweh's Will. They will go after each other. They will go for each other's throats, so to speak. In Verse 7, we are reminded that our prayers will be weak if we do not focus on Yahweh's Will. In Verse 8, we are told how to be towards one another, as Israelite Brothers and Sisters. For, we are not to fight, for if it were not for Yahweh, we would not exist in the first place.
Yahweh Bless All Of Us Israelite Brethren
