The Atheist Song

For some reason I wrote a song last week dedicated to the atheist.

Who are you?
To deny the Father in the sky
Who are you?
Eating humble pie
You think you're smart?
You're just a lark
Denying the Father in the sky
You're not the world that hides the universe
You're not the One who knows the reason why
Who are you?
To think you can hide your secrets
Can't hide nothing hypocrites!
Woe to you
Who think you know
Who you are
Your treasures are so far
In denial of what's above
Drowning without an ark
Who are you?
To swim forever

Very nice Mark.

I've long considered atheism a mental illness, there's something very wrong with someone who wants to believe in nothing.

Great! Did you compose some music to go with it?

Atheists believe in God, the thing is they just don't like God. They don't like the idea that they have to submit to a higher power. They are rebellious like Lucifer, the original atheist. When I have spoken to atheists it has become very clear that they simply don't like the idea of obedience and want to do what they want as they please.

Correction. I didn't know whether to use "for ever" or "forever" and forgot to remover the word "for" on the last line. Sorry

Well, that would be, biblically speaking, a hate crime... the original hate crime lol.

There two men I know.. They both have told me (separately) they have the same philosophy which is, "Do unto others as you wish they would do unto you." It sounded OK at the time.
One said he was an Atheist and the other is a Freemason. The Freemason told me he had got that philosophy out of Freemasonry as if that was one of the blessings of Freemasonry.
I thought about it afterwards and all that philosophy amounts to is, "I scratch your back in your corruption and hope you scratch my back in my corruption."
