One of their prominent leaders is a woman, Beatrix von Storch, who also happens to have inherited the title Duchess of Oldenburg. I am not intending to label Beatrix von Storch as a tare, but she does give the impression of the typical liberal feminist, and simply the fact that she is an AfD leader and MEP proves that the AfD is anything but "Nazi", because real Nazis would never allow such a position to a woman.

Beatrix von Storch is in the foreground on the right. We can only wonder about the nigger behind her, is he a plant so the AfD can display its "humanitarianism" and deny its "Naziness"?
The father of this Beatrix was Huno, Duke of Oldenburg. On her Wikipedia page it says that she has been derided publicly because her father was a minister in the National Socialist government, but her father was not born until 1940. Little is said on the Wikipedia page for her grandfather, Nikolaus, who was born in 1897 and lived until 1970. But this is not the present purpose.
Further down on the Wikipedia page for Beatrix von Storch it says that “her maternal great-great-grandmother Lisette von Krosigk, a daughter of the German-Scottish Ludwig von Westphalen, was a sister-in-law of Karl Marx.” And, of course, that sparked my interest.
Karl Marx married and had seven children with a woman named Jenny von Westphalen. The fates of the Marx children is interesting, and evidently only one of them gave him grandchildren, six of them, however the information may be incomplete.
Upon brief investigation it is noticed that Lisette von Krosigk was actually only the step-sister of Jenny von Westphalen, and not a blood relation. This is interesting (translation by Google):

Lisette was the daughter of Auguste and Anton Gebhardt von Krosigk. She was married to Adolph von Krosigk. Jenny von Westphalen was the stepsister of Lisette von Krosigk. But while she was not actually thel sister of Lisette von Krosigk, Jenny von Westphalen was nevertheless a woman of significant birth, being descended from noble families both German and Scottish. She was the daughter of Prussian aristocrat and Baron Ludwig von Westphalen (1770–1842), who served the governments of Brunswick and Westphalia in the time of Napoleon, where he was eventually arrested for opposing French influence in Westphalia, and later, when the Prussians came to rule over Westphalia, was moved to a government position in Trier.
Here is what Wikipedia says about Ludwig von Westphalen from that time:
It was in Trier that he met and befriended Heinrich Marx, the father of Karl Marx. The children of the respective families, in particular Jenny and Edgar von Westphalen, and Sophie and Karl Marx, became close friends as well. In 1836, Jenny von Westphalen and Karl Marx became engaged; at first secretly but Ludwig approved the marriage in 1837, even though some saw Marx, who was both middle class and younger than her, as well as of Jewish descent, as an inappropriate partner for the baronial daughter. In fact, Ludwig was seen as the mentor and role model of Karl Marx, who referred to him as a "dear fatherly friend". It was Ludwig who first introduced Marx to the socialist teachings of Saint-Simon [the French socialist Claude Henri de Rouvroy, comte de Saint-Simon]. Marx's dissertation was dedicated to Ludwig. In 1842, Marx was present at the deathbed of Ludwig von Westphalen. Jenny and Karl became married in 1843, a year after Ludwig's death.
An “inappropriate partner for the baronial daughter” to say the least! In Mein Kampf Adolf Hitler had written about the intermarriages between Prussian aristocrats and the Jews, so there are probably many more examples than this.
The Reformation had a good side, that it opened the way for study of antiquity and the Scriptures which was never properly conducted under the Roman Catholic Church.
But the Reformation had an ugly side, in that it created the avenues by which the Jews were more openly able to mingle with Christians. Of course, the Jews were emancipated by Napoleon, but the Protestant churches did not adopt Martin Luther’s late-in-life but righteous hostility towards them. But this was also made possible by opinions such as that which Martin Luther himself had given on marriage, which will probably be the subject of a Christogenea podcast one day in the near future.
Of course, I would dig a little deeper than Wikipedia, but it is often an acceptable starting point for collecting resources on such a subject.
