Apparently its not a big deal since the known race of two of the victims are black and the race of the others remains "unknown". If the victims had been white, you can bet it would have received little coverage, if any. If the race of the other victims ends up being white, the story will be dropped like a hot potato.

The media will occasionally publish this type of story to provide cover for themselves (they have to report black crime SOMETIMES) and this sort of criminal is so "wierd" (collecting multiple bodies in the home, cannibalism like barbecuing the girlfriend, etc.) that in the minds of the readers it puts the perpetrator so far outside the realm of the average that they tend to dismiss it as relating to the general, overall black population in any meaningful way. Basically, for their agenda, this is a pretty safe type of story.
