India To Sell Sewage As "Holy Water"

"The Indian government plans to sell water from River Ganga on the internet. The river is deeply revered by most Hindus—so much so that a dip in its waters is believed to wash away all sins."

But The Ganges is one of the most polluted rivers in the world:

"Yet, for all the religious significance attached to it, millions of litres of untreated sewage from the hundreds of settlements along the Ganga flow straight into the river. Lack of proper sanitation has led to high levels (pdf) of fecal coliform, a bacteria that causes a variety of illnesses, in the Ganga."

Apparently, the government is merely responding to a genuine need of "the people":

“We assure you all that we will take proactive steps to address the cultural needs of the people of India.”

A few years ago I found that page of images on Chinasmack, of an absolutely filthy India. [Funny to see filthy chinks realizing that the Indians are even far filthier.] Most of the photos are centered around the Ganges River. It should be renamed the Gangreine River.

Back in the 70's I bought a book from Pastor Sheldon Emry called "Thugs and Communist" by Louis Zoul. Most of the book was about the Thugs of India, a secret cult of marauders notorious for killing their victims via the garrote. The British occupied India for decades before they even knew anything about them. But, I remember a ritual that Indians would practice involving newborns. In the West we, of course, treat our babies with soft clean blankets, but in India they find the filthiest rags and vile materials they can find to swaddle their infants in. Welcome to India ya little rug rats... from cradle to grave, filth.
