Is it okay to eat the cooked skin of cooked chicken?

There is nothing in Scripture that I know of that says you cannot. We buy bags of chicken feet to cook and extract the nutrients for soups. Sometimes we throw in the bones and skins as well.

I moved to topic to Health, which seemed more appropriate.

According to Scripture there is nothing wrong with it.

According to general health there is nothing wrong with it.

It's now in both sections. Perhaps it will continue to replicate itself, like a disease, like the soulless bastards.

to add my 2 cents" -
chicken skin, even when I learned about Christian Identity / Seventh Day Advent-ism is surely OK.
it is NOTHING like PIG.
We know to avoid HAM/PIG/PORK/BACON as it is filth.
Funny how "jews" in the last decade have been caught eating it!, and we have continually been learning how un-healthy it is!

Especially when it's marinated and roasted with lemon and black pepper. Guess what I had for breakfast? :D

You need to make sure that the chicken in question is not a Mamzer and mixed with less noble Chickens e.g. a. Californian Grey shouldn't be mixed with a Colombian Blue.

It's always best to ask the Cook or the Butcher if the Chicken was a pure blood, or if in the Chicken skin looked a bit swarthy to them, if they are unsure, you can ask them about the shape of the Chickens skull and examining it's eye sockets.

Happy Chicken hunting. :ugeek:
