Big Dairy Petitions FDA to Allow Unlabeled Use of Aspartame

Postby Amell » Wed Mar 13, 2013 11:20 am

The FDA already allows the dairy industry to use the unmodified “milk” label for products that contain added sugar or high fructose corn syrup. Because of this, the petitioners maintain that “consumers can more easily identify the overall nutritional value of milk products that are flavored with non-nutritive sweeteners if the labels do not include such claims”

Aspartame is the most dangerous food additive on the market today, accounting for over 75 percent of adverse reactions reported to the FDA, including seizures and death

That stuff is awful, only passing for human consumption once they diluted it to the point of nonexistence for the tests. In Britain at least it usually only ends up in soft drinks, but it has a terrifying number of uses in the USA.

I recommend everyone cutting back on milk (we really are the only adult of any species that drinks milk). I you need milk, I recommend buying milk at the local health food store. We buy Snowville and there's another dairy close by that barely pasteurizes their milk. We also have a farmer who has a cow-share plan of RAW milk. Soooooo much better for you.

Raw milk with the cows grass-fed and milked properly is very healthy. Pasteurized and homogenized stuff on the shelves these days is baaaad. Filled with puss, anti-biotics and hormones which all leeches calcium from your system as well.

Coconut milk is the best think to drink!!! Along with its oil is the best to use for cooking, along with butter and olive oil. I use coconut oil for dry skin, teeth, and hair.

Mercola.com is a great website full of healthy advice and information!!

We mostly use butter and olive oil for cooking. It just seems like a waste to use coconut oil as it tastes so good just like it is. I often put it with raw coco powder and honey as well which tastes pretty amazing.

Butter and olive oil are not tolerant enough for higher heats. I use butter mostly for bread and hot vegetables. I mostly use coconut oil for my cast iron skillets and olive oil for my salad dressings and homemade bread. I get Omega Nutrition olive oil http://www.pureformulas.com/olive-oil-32-oz-by-omega-nutrition.html#sthash.Cbi0xGls.dpbswhich uses olives that are picked off the tree (and never from the ground) and is cold pressed on ALL pressings. I'm not about to destroy it's nutritional value by putting heat to it. Pricey, but worth it.

Does coconut oil have higher heat tolerance?

Butter goes on my bread and olive oil in my salads daily too. Not all wasted :)
