Kind-of the reverse of what has happened to Cleopatra in that we have depictions of her from her time yet she is portrayed as a nigger today.

The irony here is that the nose presented in this imaginary "portrait" is not even a typical jewish nose to begin with!

What does that mean "presented in the 1920's"? Created in the 1920's? Dug up and given to someone in the 20's?

It was identified or said to depict Flavius Josephus in the 1920s, the identification was made due to the typical jewish nose. And as Bahr said, it does not even depict a typical jewish nose in the first place.

"presented in the 1920s as depicting Josephus". It is the identification that was made in the 1920's and it is a genuine Roman bust.

For identification with Josephus, see Les Dossiers d' Archéologie, 2001. The 1st century Roman portrait bust said to be of Josephus, is conserved in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen, Denmark.

It would be like a Pastor getting a DNA test and being connected to a past apostle who the testing company assumes was a jew, thereby confirming that that pastor is jewish but not actually confirming that the apostle himself was jewish. :)

I think you're as confused as I am. Is this supposed to be a genuine sculpture of Josephus, a fake or what. I'm not sure I quite understand.
YHWH bless.

In 1906, Felix von Luschan suggested that the arched nose in Jews is not a "Semitic" trait, but is a consequence of the intermixture with the "Hittites" in Asia Minor, noting that other races with Hittite blood, such as the Armenians, have similar noses.[5] The same theory was held by Houston Stewart Chamberlain in 1910.[13]
A Roman bust attributed to the Jewish writer Josephus simply on the strength of its similarity to the caricature of a Jewish nose

A Roman statue depicting a hawk nosed figure in the collection of the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek in Copenhagen, and acquired in 1891 from Princess Piombino, lacked an inscription in Latin identifying the subject but was presented by the museum in 1925 as Josephus, an identification defended by Robert Eisler. The grounds for Eisler's inference were simply that a notice in Eusebius stated that Josephus, the most famous Jew of his time, had a statue erected in his honour, and this bust, he thought, corresponded to a ‘crooked’, ‘broken’ ‘Jewish nose’ as distinct from the classic aquiline Roman nose. The identification is still widely used though scholars have rejected the claim. Hebrews in ancient Near Eastern art, like other peoples, Canaanites for example, who lived to the west of the Assyrian empire, have straight protruding noses.
It's funny that I googled "Hittite nose" and the first link was "Jewish nose" at Wkipedia, from which I quoted above. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_nose

Let's not forget this classic thread, scrolling down to "Hittite schnozzes," where Jerry Springer has a striking resemblance to the alleged art depicting Josephus. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=203&start=50

And it goes without saying, that modern renditions of Christ portray Him as a swarthy hippy peacenik.

First off, Robert Eisler was a jew--and a hack historian and fake "holocaust" survivor. He claimed that Jesus was a political jew and a Zealot. Any opinion he may hold about this bust of Josephus carries no weight, except in the twisted minds of other jews.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Eisler

Also, Eusebius stated that a statue was erected of Josephus--a statue is not a bust, which shows only the shoulders and above. So this cannot be the statue that Eusebius is referring to. Bill has gone over Josephus' family Israelite background many times, and he clearly was neither a hook-nosed greasy jew nor a debased Hittite. And given his fame, it's hard to believe that any statue of Josephus wouldn't have some sort of an inscription.

Right, and I couldn't resist taking this from Wikipedia, which is also jewish comedy. There might be a hidden meaning in Pinocchio's nose getting bigger and bigger LOL.

True. An aquiline nose in and of itself is NOT a Jewish feature, but very Aryan.

The Victorians esteemed a high-bridged nose as a mark of nobility, and many portraits of the Roman leadership displayed prominent noses.

Well at-least you found the identity of the person who 'identified the bust as being Josephus, I could not find that information anywhere, thanks!

You look under every stone and find a damn jew hiding under it!
I suspected as much.
