Corinthian Invention

This is a BBC documentary about a mechanism found by divers in 1900 that since has been found to be of Corinthian (or its colony Syracuse) manufacture, and more than likely made by Archimedes himself. It predicts the time and hour of solar and lunar eclipses, as well predicts the lunar and planetary cycles. Apart from the obvious display of Aryan intelligence, what is also shows, and even posits in the documentary, that such technology ended up in the Byzantium Empire due to Rome's domicile there, and this is how such technology ended up in the Arab world. In short, the Arabs did not introduce new inventions and mathematics to Europe....it was, and always has been, the other way round.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Matthew 7 16-19 KJV

I always believed that Arabs simply stole Greek and Persian technology. They simply took over, stole and ultimately ruined.

I recently read Rodney Stark's "How The West Won". In his opinion, it was Greek isolation in the independent city states that allowed for technological growth without the suffocating effect of imperial taxation. Combining this with the Hebrew concept of a rational, benevolent God gave the white race the self assurance that made technological advacement possible.

Whether that's true or not, it's certainly true that Islam sees perfection as something in the past, and therefore technological advancement is a rejection of that ideal. This is why the Ottoman empire was a house built without foundations that toppled as soon as real pressure was applied. Throughout their history, the best "Arab" scholars were as you say, actually Greek Christians and Persians living under Ottoman rule. Even their famous cannons were built by Hungarian engineers.
