Not quite scholarly enough for my main site (I could have at least done without the Obama snippet), the guy giving this interview is close, but just headed in the wrong direction! Civilization moved from east to west, not from west to east. This is why scholars must be balanced, and not just study history from one angle. If this guy had read the Classics, and not merely Irish literature and Egyptian archaeology, he might get his way straight.
