It's spelled "opreg", and its direct translation is "upright". It could be used to mean of pure origin in the right context, just like with English.

Also it's spelled "eerlik", which is more "honest" than "sincere". Maybe an older form of Afrikaans.

Anyway, just throwing in my 2 cents here.
