About your question:
I believe that war and trouble times are extremely necessary to a race of people. If there's no adversity, no troubles, no wars, we become a soft and weak people. But through tribulations our people gets stronger, just like we get mature through our everyday problems. So I guess God put us so close to the beast of the field to prove us and make us a strong, warrior people, rather than weak and cowards.
