An interesting machine none-the-less, I have an interest in machines; how they work and their components. I suppose you use it to convert recording to a more modern format.
The tape on the machine is a commercial tape. The box in the lower right corner is the cover. Albums were released in this format too from the 1960's up until about 1982. Yes, I use this machine mostly to convert tapes to digital formats. Sometimes I listen to commercial music tapes like the one pictured. Yesterday we enjoyed some Classical music on reel to reel after dinner.
