A simultaneous worldwide flood cannot be proven with fossil records and it is impossible to have occurred. Even if all the ice melted, there would still not be enough water to cover the entire earth.

"Earth" in this connotation would necessarily mean only a portion of the earth.

I appreciate your being civil in tone. Whether I am right or wrong in my hypothesis, someone being rude and arrogant toward someone else with a different opinion, such as the behavior Bill Finck has demonstrated, is not helpful or encouraging, in the least.

For the record, I never said in my previous writings that the fossil record of sea life in the highlands was evidence of the Noahic Flood; only that it is evidence that such a global flood could have happened, that it is in the realm of possibility. I am not sure if the Noahic Flood engulfed the entire globe or not. But, from reading the text of the Holy Bible, it engulfed the "world", of "man and beast" [Genesis 7:21-23], meaning wherever there were previous terrestrial lifeforms. This may or may not have included some remote areas of the planet, as these details are not specified in the Holy Writ. I am only going by what Yahweh has stated in His Book.

The Rephaim were not on the ark, Dan, but they survived the flood. That alone blows your entire theory, and you can't stand it because you think you are a lot smarter than you actually are.
