An art display constructed at Denver International Airport this month in conjunction with the new King Tut exhibit at the Denver Art Museum is stirring up controversy.

Residents such as Millie Lieberman of Denver are asking why officials selected Anubis, an early Egyptian god of the dead and a god of funerals, as a piece that welcomes people to the city.

"To me it's a very sick and poor representation of what we're all about here in Denver," Lieberman said.

The Denver Art Museum stands behind the statue and says that is not what it is supposed to represent.

Revelation 18:

You know Egyptians were white or used to be white.
Not only is this idolatry but they are trying to shove
niggerism on everyone. In case you was wondering
I just thought up the word and it seems to fit.
