I Guess. I have watched tv since in diapers. I was not allowed to watch it all the time, so I never knew what Sesame Street was until Grade 1 when once a tv was in our classroom.
i was ridiculed how stupid I was for not knowing about it.
When the teacher left, another classmate turned it on,and i was amazed.
It was maybe 4 years until I learned of The Electric Company, also on PBS,amd ONLY because I was at a classmate's house when I should have been at home, but I wanted to see his piranha fish.(he was chinese and eventually flushed them down the toilet as he couldn't afford to feed them shrimp anymore).
Sesame Street was NOTHING like the shows I was allowed to watch with my Mom and Dad - nothing like Emergency, Adam12, McMillan & Wife , McCloud, Green Hornet, Batman, Kung Fu ...or when my Dad was out, my Mom let me see Sonny & Cher, Flip Wilson, etc and laugh a lot even though I barely understood what it was about.
