Twenty-six years ago yesterday the Chornobyl nuclear incident occurred. It came to my attention only recently that the name "Chornobyl" in the Ukrainian language is the name of the plant that we call wormwood in English ("apsinthos" in Greek, and Strong's 894 in relation to its usage in Rev 8:10-11). I am not sure if anyone has picked up on this Ukrainian language link in CI? I know the link to the Ukrainian language has been pointed out by other people. Maybe this is interesting as a dual prophesy, or maybe it is significant enough to look again at other current ideas concerning Rev 8:10-11, as currently generally accepted in CI. It certainly is interesting when one reads Rev 8:10-11 (CNT):

"And the third messenger sounded the trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning as a lamp, and it fell upon a third of the rivers and upon the springs of waters, 11 and the name of the star is called Wormwood, and a third of the waters came to be wormwood and many of the men died from the waters because they had been made bitter."

As far as the incident itself, as I understand, the power station was actually built with a deficiency in the back-up electricity supply for the water pumps that were used to pump the water for cooling the reactor core. The final back-up electrical supply was massive diesel generators that took a minimum of 60 seconds to get to full power, and this duration was too long and would lead to inadequate water flow and so overheating of the reactor core. In the two years since the power plant was open they ran a number of exercises to attempt to work out a way around this problem. The day of the incident was another such exercise.

Some people posit of course that it was done on purpose. Maybe. To have more certainty of such a claim one would have to analyse the individual members of the staff and look for things such as race (jewish?) and previous and/or subsequent military appointments (in Mossad?), etc. This research I have never done. However, certainly the incident was one of the contributing factors that led to the ending of the Soviet Union in the form that it was to that time known. Further, it fits with the pattern of false flag events taking place when there were "practice exercises" occurring for the same likely outcomes.

There are a number of interesting parts to this if one relates this passage in Revelation to this incident. First, the Soviet Union was a creation of Edomites, and here a "great star fell from Heaven". Secondly, it burnt as a lamp, nuclear reaction. Third, such result of the lamp burning fell on the rivers and the springs, fallout. Fourth, the name "Wormwood" as above desribed with it relating to Chornobyl in the Ukrainian language, the language of the territory where the event occurred. Additionally, the contamination of the water supply and the death toll due to this.
