Re: To preach nowadays, you must worship Jews

HOW VERY TRUE ! First and foremost a "jewdeo-christian" denomination must recognize that the jews are Israel. I grew up in a home like this. I am new to CI but it only took a couple looks at it to realize "Hey, I am on to something " that is factual. It is shameful that CI is hid...

Re: The Future for the Christogenea Forum?

I like and enjoy the forum as it is invaluable to me as a fairly recent convert. I would hate to see it go down. As members what should we do to insure the continuation of Christogenea as we know it ?

Dispensational Pastors

It has been my experience, growing up in this type of home, that some of them ask the church what particular type of sermons they want to hear. So they know what to preach. Does not come from the heart but is rather guided by the "checkbook".

Re: Christian love is keeping the law. Being Spiritual is ke

Is that guy serious ? Homo's can have a relationship with "Jesus" ? I seriously doubt that since homo's are defined by what they do in bed with another guy. If they have repented they are no longer queer. I think Bill said that with a little more authority than I. Amazing !

Re: Anointed Standard Translation N.T.

It is by Herrell. Like I sais I had just heard of it but he is supposed to be CI. Good or bad, is it not good for clarification ? I will stick with CNT and ASV for OT. I am sorry to the KJV only folks. It is difficult for me to understand the archaic language.

Re: The Future for the Christogenea Forum?

Wow, I didn't know there was talk about shutting down Christogenea. That would be devastating considering all the podcasts, etc. Bill, say it ain't so!!!

Re: The Future for the Christogenea Forum?

How about a place for people, like myself, new to CI and need the proper guidance. I mean I have gotten lots of well meaning suggestions. But there is just much to absorb and I am unsure of what to read, etc. I started with "Acts" figuring this is history of CI @ Pentecost. Well done serie...

Re: Your Recommended Bible To Study From

I have a AST version with the Sacred Name restored which is really easy reading. It is called the Bethel Edition from the Assembly of Yahweh. I'm aware they are not CI or anything close. I just happen to like their Bible. It works for me. This is the American Standard Translation and not the AST Ano...

Apochryphal Writings Mentioned in N.T.

After listening to the first lesson on "Pragmatic Genesis" I heard Bill mention that certain books from the Apochrypha are discussed in the N.T.. Where exactly is that reference?
